Pathological changes

It is obvious that changes of psychology that result in criminal activity are not the inborn changes, those are learned changes. So, if there was a time when there were no criminal drives typical for a person, is it possible to get rid of those? This is a question of vital importance as the right answer to this question would make this world better. Though, people have no answer to this question and thing are like they are. They were looking for the answer and found the only possible answer – punishment provided for crime.

Legislative systems of countries provide a number of punishments for those who are inclined for criminal activity, though during the ages those punishments proved to be of no use. According to statistic if there are ten people sentenced for the crimes they have committed, it would be great if there will be one of them who will realize his mistake and get back of prison as a perfect citizen. In most cases prison changes nothing in their characters.

The only change imprisonment brings to the characters of criminals is intensification of their anger and fortification of their belief that there is no justice in the world. So, it will be right to state that changes in the character of one who become a criminal are pathological changes. There is nothing that can be done in order to bring things back in order.

Though, if there are changes in the psychology may be there are psychologists able to do something to those changes. May be if there were people to work with criminals there would be less of those who become more angry and cruel after getting out of prison.
